Structures cannot be made by architects or Designers, Client plays 50% as he gives his need, Location, Vaastu, Looks.
Somes designers gets frustrated when clients does changes again and again, I say this is the fault of the architect/ Designer.
Firstly a client has many ideas, out of which only 10 to 20% can be executable based on his idea and Budget, So as a technical person we should firstly advise client , what is the need and what he should expect. Clients expectations grow as Designers/ Architects show them a rosy dream picture with a minimum pocket budget.
Thus there happens a conflict.
We believe we are technical person and we can do what is right.
