Hello all the trust bodies of COA, CA'S, Medical field. Engineering field.

Today i have some interesting topic to discuss here with you all.

I Ar. Samson Gomes have passed Architecture from Rachana Sansad's Academy of Architecture in 2005.

I am practising as a Architect and interior designer in my  society in vasai, Mumbai.

The point of discussion. Just a concept for understanding the typology of education system in India.

All Bachelor of Architecture are not Architects on the day of passing the final year of College examination result.
Same all Bachelor of Engineering are not Engineers and all MBBS are not doctors and all LLB's are not advocates.

A college can teach all the varied principles of education for a student to understand the basics of any field , say in architecture there are numerous subjects like design philosophy, Architecture design. Theory of structures. Basic design. Climatology, Urban design and so on.

All these subjects have a limited teaching of say 6 months and then following semester examination  the understanding of the student of that particular subject only.

He cannot become a master such that he can on his own do all the planning and construct a building.

He should as per my idea, if a graduation of architecture is 5 years B.arch degree, then he should post completing his graduation have atleast 5 years experience under a registered architect and then only by a exam or a evaluation body should declare him as a Architect of certain things ( interior, land scape, buildings etc)

This will help the society to get good results from those professionals who have a passion and are striving themselves for a good experience.

In this case a Architect will never make a mistake of wrong doings say in interior design or in building planning or sustainable design or as per his expertise.

The society will incure less loss towards the building collapse, wastage of materials due less understanding of any product details.

The updated and experienced graduate will never make a mistake as his knowledge is now technical and practical in a total span of 5 + 5 years

Now this experienced graduate is ready for his own professional practise and can be given a COA ( Council Of Architecture)  licence as and for a Practising Architect.

Same case for Doctors, Engineers , Advocates, Pharmacists etc.

I am keen to have a formal discussion on this topic for the growth of our society.

POD hotels GOOD or BAD

Just came across POD hotels at Mumbai Central and Andheri west. A good concept.

The pod hotel or pods are a size of a sleeping human, a person at most can sit or sleep inside the pod. This is ideally used when there is a transit stop , where a traveller wants to rest for some time. Ideally a transit hub of airport / Bus depots / Terminals. 

These pod's are so compact , that it does not have a sunlight or a natural ventilation. 

Now consider a location where the pods spaces are rented for 12 hrs (Rs 799) or 24 hrs( 1999), Why should anyone take these pods for 12 hrs also, these should be hourly charged.

Also India is not 100% Reliant for a 100% source for electric energy ( Call it Solar or  Coal). Currently we Indians are not 100% dependent on the continous flow of supply. These pods if cut with a electric supply may turn into nightmare in a couple of minutes and bodies of travellers will die inside it and may create a havoc.

Possible locations of installing these POD'S are inside a Airport or Transit hubs where we Indians 100% depend on continous flow of Electric Supply.

Do Clients care for a Good Planning or Only Elevations give a Good Design.

Architects in a 5 year Degree course have been taught to visualise a non Built up form. He plans , Designs uses climatic conditions  of that area and ultimately proposes a Bungalow which can survive and tackle a local climate and land problems.
In todays scenario, a contractor and a internet images have taken the space of architect, they ONLY make elevations.
Have anyone taught is this structure in all angles can withstand forces of nature as well as a client can stay safe and enjoy the internal to external atmosphere with a feeling joyous balcony.

Benefits of Modern Concept of Bungalow with Traditional ones

We are in a Era of Continous Transformation. As a Human Being we continously strive for new, The face of A New born child has both mother and Father looks and a new species of Humans evolve.

Similarly in architecture, problems in older Traditional type of Designs have been seen, verified and Rectified for a new Design element.

A traditional type of structure has mouldings, cornices, Buttress and all different facade design and this are prone to variety of problems faced by atmosphere and other living animals and flying creatures.

A photo speaks all, we have attached showing , the facade mouldings having moss and algae formed on projections due to Rainfall water, now no one cleans it daily , and thus the structure looks old in 1 to 2 years of a new building

Now, if there was a box form concept no projections and thus no rain and algae.

Many Benefits towards the traditional , this is one of the Benefits.

Difference in Bachelors of architecture and ARCHITECT.Bachelors of Law (Legum Baccalaureus) and a LAWYER.MBBS and a DOCTOR and So Other career fields.

We see every industry, The government has formulated a study course and duration. This entire course teaches us the basics and theory of that industry. The course has a entire module which helps us grasp the indepth and detailed theory knowledge for that industry. This doesn't make us a professional. 

In today's world every Bachelor of Architecture, passouts, publisize themselves as the professionals of that field. Problems happens when the driver (Professional) makes a mistake and accident happens. Today there are varoius fields including architecture, which certify after completion of 90 days training in 5 years Degree course module. Problem is A 5 years  degree course like Architecture needs 5 years experience so that the particular student achieves confidence and the client acieves more confidence on the PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECT.

Truly A Bachelor of architecture + Experience of 5 years ( like Certificate of Practise) will be called as ARCHITECT OF THE BUILDING 
or 
THE ARCHITECT OF THE PROJECT.

Today in India our industry has passouts to such an extent and only 5 to 10  World famous architects  ( means a common man in our country should know his name or in otyer country the builder lobby and International magazines should have his projects)  , the situation of our country will reach to a point where only theory Professionals will work on projects in their neighbourhood and big projects will be taken by international architects. We should teach students not only theory based, But also Practical based works.


Mafia materials for Todays Construction. Will this survive the Climate of the World? AND THE WORLD?

Have we ever wondered why we need to plaster the walls? And why bricks are porous,

We live in a world of Mafia Materials , The Construction materials are not supported by Government, but is being highly used in the industry.

CEMENT- Life of only 50 years, and pollution which can damage the life of World popluation. 

We as a Human Being started using RCC from approx 1853 in Paris.
Consider life of world 2500 years (As per Current status and water levels rising day by day and estimate of 2050 to submerge coastal cities and 2100 to submerge more states after coastal cities. Currently 2021 year)

In this if only 647 years runied the Earth so much that it led to destruction, increase sea levels and CO2 emissions, not only By Rcc But by the entire Building construction activities (eg Gypsum, Plywood, Tiles, Steel ,Plastic etc)

Humans lived the life well in conjunction with nature for and till 1853 from AD  and then discovered a virus called RCC construction, which started ruinning the World , Nature and Atmosphere.

Today the world needs to Consume and Utilise all items from MAN MADE TO GOD MADE.

Eg.
Eating Habits
Construction Habits
Consumption Habits
Working Habits.
